I happened in to this family friendly restaurant while searching for a dinner spot without lines out the door...i know there is usually a reason for the lines but thought would take a chance...i was not disappointed. the service was pleasant and efficient from the front door welcome to my waitress and server. i had broiled scallops and shrimp that were good and along with the two sides served me quite well...the cole slaw was bountiful and good. the noise level was not bad considering there were families there with young children...after all this is a very family friendly area across from the beach.

Better than a chain diner, especially for breakfast and such a down home neighborhood ambiance. Our large group was greeted by 3 welcoming and neatly uniformed ladies. A table for our party of 8 took less than 5 minutes to assemble and then drink orders were immediately taken by a kind and well-spoken young lady. Our 4 teens easily found their favorite breakfast pancakes and omelets, while the grown ups delighted in good coffee and fabulous breakfast cuisine made from very fresh ingredients.

Breakfast Veggie Wrap (Two scrambled eggs, tomato, onion, peppers, mushrooms and cheddar. Served with a wedge of local cantaloupe.) 8.95

Fresh Egg BLT (A BLT on a butter croissant with avocado, little mayo and a fried egg. Served with a wedge of local cantaloupe) 7.95

Their upside down pecan and apple pie was outstanding!

We went here at the managers rec. I had 3 egg omelet and home fries. Excellent food very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wife had bacon and eggs and she said they were good.

We stayed across the street in the Seaside Inn and ate breakfast here every day. The servers are friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great assortment of breakfast foods, at a good price.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning it was busy but we were seated right away. The food was very good and so was the service. On our way out we stopped to look at all of the history of the restaurant on the walls and how it has changed over the years. The owners son was there and told us some history also that was interesting to know. As locals we will be back to try lunch and dinner.
